Dreamforce is upon us! Today I’m flying into San Francisco, and I could not be more pumped! Today’s post is going to be short because there is just too much awesomeness happening this year. Here are the top 5 things you can’t miss at Dreamforce!

1. Lightning Experience

With the new announcement of Lightening, I think we are going to see a BUNCH of the new UI all over. There will be plenty of opportunities to get your hands on the new UI, along with the ability to talk to experts. You’ll have the chance to get your questions answered. And it will be awesome.

2. Admin Keynote

Last year, Dreamforce ’14 we had an Admin Keynote, but it wasn’t “official.” The response was super positive and this year, Marc Benioff has approved an official keynote just for Admins! The Admin Marketing team has been hard at work putting together amazing content for admins at all experience levels. Based on the previews I’ve seen on Twitter, it’s going to be awesome!

A little birdie has told me that there may be a Lightning event happening in the Admin Zone after the keynote so be sure to check it out!

3. Admin Zone

Speaking of Admin Zone, this year is going to be awesome. An area dedicated 100% to Admins. You can enjoy a free coffee, watch live podcasting, talk to experts, meet Salesforce MVPs and mingle with those of like mind. Take the opportunity to meet new friends and grow your network.

For me, this will be my hub. When I’m not running a session, I’ll be hanging out in the Admin Zone.

4. Swag. Lots of Swag.

This year I’m making it a point to come back with lots of goodies. T-shirts, stickers, buttons and various other swag for myself and my users. Folks joke that they can get their entire wardrobe for a year at Dreamforce. Between partner and official Salesforce goodies, you’ll be able to quickly stock your shelf with awesome swag.

If you’re looking for swag, be sure to track me down and get an awesome Admin Hero button and sticker! This is the first time I’ve giving out any Admin Hero gear and I’d love for you have some! I have a limited quantity to hand out so the sooner you find me, the better!

5. New Connections

Meeting new people is awesome. That is especially true when they are Dreamforce people. I like to strike up a conversation with those around me and learn about their work, the projects they are working on and what they are looking to get out of the conference. You’ll be amazed at how the conversation will start flowing when you ask a few simple questions.

Plus, these connections have come in handy for me in the past. I’ve been able to leverage these connections to provide insight or actual help outside of the conference.
